Abstract

Fertilizer is primarily applied manually in fertilizing trials with solid mineral fertilizers in plot experiments. An acceptable mechanized solution for application, which fulfils requirements on precision, as well as on proximal conditions, is not available. For this purpose a row fertilizer spreader with a working width of 1.5 m was developed, which applicates very exactly through a microprocessor-controlled dosage unit. It has a modular design and can be mounted on various carrying units and can be triggered by various systems.
